Former playing honours (if any):- Moville parish shield runners up medal 1977- I was sub on the Stroove team

 

Occupation: Water person

 

What is on your iPod/CD player?- Abba, Bay City Rollers and Daniel O Donnell

 

What is the best game you have ever played in/been at, and why? Donegal vs Kildare All Ireland Quarter Final 2011 because burgers were lovely in Croke Park

 

What is your party piece? Pretending to fall asleep

 

Who is the person in GAA you admire the most, and why? Joe Brolly- because you just cant put  the ****** down!!!

 

What is your earliest GAA memory? Travelling to Moville u-14 games , 9 to  car with Brendan Keveney and Packie Mc Groarty……. seatbelts weren’t compulsory in those days

 

What is your favourite TV Show/Movie? Wouldn’t miss Cornation Street

 

Who would you invite to a dinner party at your home? Billy Connolly for the craic, Julia Roberts for the eye candy, Oisin Mc Conville so he could tell more stories about Sean O Hare and Sean Faulkner to do the dishes!

 

When I was younger I wanted to be…? Rich and famous

 

What is your favourite ground to play at? Moville pitch and putt

 

Who is the worst trainer? Sarah Faulkner , always late and always has to get away early and always cant make it because she’s  working.

 

Who is your sporting hero (any sport) and why? Muhammed Ali- the Greatest of them all.

 

What would you change about the game currently? Would like to see an open draw format for an All Ireland series on a trial basis.

 

Who would you draft into the Moville Senior Mens/Ladies teams if there was a transfer window?  The one and only Frank Mc Glynn.

 

What is the most difficult game/opponent/team you have ever encountered as a player or spectator? The wee baldy boy from Milford who had a go a me last year when  I was linesman in Div 4 game.

 

Who has been your biggest influence? Myself

 

If you were not involved in the GAA, what would you be doing instead? Cutting the lawn.

 

Do you have any pre-match rituals or superstitions? I always sit in same seat when I drive my car to games.

 

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given? You cant  eat an elephant all at once.

 

Name a player within the club as ‘one to watch’ for the next 12 months:  For the girls,  Danielle Mc Dermott  and for the rest of the girls Tony Mc Clenaghan.
